What is a naturopath?
In Australia, a naturopath is a bachelor degree-qualified fully-insured health practitioner operating under the responsibilities and obligations of a natural medicine association. A naturopath assesses you using a vast array of metrics to find the root cause of a niggling or serious health problem to provide the most appropriate treatment. A naturopath doesn’t just work with illness; if you want to know how you can be doing better, a naturopath can also optimise your body for life.

Naturopaths use herbal and nutritional medicine, plus lifestyle tweaks, to get results, while always keeping naturopathic principles close – do no harm, and treat the person, not the disease. You may be sent for further testing by biomedical practitioners where necessary, with a supportive relationship where possible created with your other health practitioners, including your doctor.

We may request further testing done by your regular doctor to help narrow down the cause of your issues.
